ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AN ADDED VALUE FOR YOUR GUESTS IN YOUR WELLNESS, RESORT or HOTEL?

Posted in Healthier environment

If so, equip your guest rooms and other public areas with IONEX air ionizer.

Indoor air, which most of us breathe far more often than outdoor air, is of primary importance to our health. But we rarely question the quality of air we breathe. Have you noticed that you become tired, sleepy and without concentration within a few hours spent in certain closed places?

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The reasons for this are in the poor indoor air quality and in the lack of negative ions. This condition is known as so called ‘Sick-building Syndrome’

To explain this in more details, there are positive and negative ions in the air, positive ions representing bacteria, pollutants, aerosols and negative ions representing foundation for many body processes in living beings. Negative ions also remove all the pollutants from the air, even the smallest, submicron carcinogenic particles.

The first cause for the occurrence of ‘Sick Building Syndrome’ is in the way we build. Newer buildings that utilise reinforced concrete construction are upon physical laws like a Faraday cage without any ions. The interiors of the buildings are sometimes divided with drywalls, which contain aluminium brackets every half a metre, and the whole structure again represents a Faraday cage. Faraday cage causes that negative ions cannot enter such a structure and consequently cause a shortage of negative ions in closed environments.

The second reason for this shortage of negative ions is in usage of too many artificial (synthetic) materials and in presence of many electronic devices (neon lights, TV screens, computers); further destructing negative ions and making life in these living and working spaces exhausting.

The third reason for negative ion shortage is in common usage of artificial air ventilation in living and business buildings. It has been proven that air conditioning and air ventilating devices (being otherwise essential in hot and cold days) destroy negative ions, because they are sensitive to air friction, caused by travelling through AC pipes at high speed. What comes out, is simply called ‘dead air’[1].

Although some manufacturers equip their AC units with components that emit negative ions, they usually do not make it even as far as the unit’s outlet because the generators are installed in the wrong place and are too weak to be able to produce enough negative ions for any of them to reach the room. In most cases, they install negative ion generating metal needles, which oxidise over time due to the humidity in the air, producing harmful ozone.

After people stay longer period in areas, depleted of negative ions, they feel tired, exhausted, as the negative ions are a foundation of all vital functions, of health and well-being in general.

So, the logical conclusion is that we have to add negative ions in closed environments artificially by including a negative ion generator in these areas. It improves comfort not only due to fewer health problems but also due to improved wellbeing, concentration and productivity on the one hand and higher quality living and sleeping on the other hand.

Many hotels in the world offer their guests the highest comfort and spoil them with the best food, pools, fitness studios, with wellness services, saunas and casinos and think that their offer represents top tier service. None of them, however, thinks of offering their guests clean air, enriched with negative ions, which would enable them to fully enjoy the listed benefits and sleep well at night.

A hotel or resort that would do that, would see many guests happy and returning, even though the guests would not know precisely, what is so special about this hotel. The secret is in the abundance of negative ions, which reduces the levels of stress hormone in the body, being the reason for a good, carefree feeling, which the guests are initially looking for.

Be the first to offer your guest a novelty – negative ions from a high-quality air ionizer for the best well-being and health. After all, guests want to feel relieved from the exhausting everyday life.

IONEX air ionizer is one of such high-quality air ionizers. It is unique due to its specially designed carbon brush, which emits negative ions without the presence of harmful ozone (which other air ionizers usually produce – because they use of metal needles, which react with air humidity, and consequently generating harmful ozone). This very distinguishing characteristic of IONEX ionizer won the patent owner a nomination for the Entrepreneur of the year as well as Silver regional Award for innovation and grant from European project Horizon 2020 for SME Instrument Phase 1.

IONEX air ionizer emits the largest number of negative ions, as has been measured at the Institute Jožef Stefan. Because negative ions reduce histamine levels and thus alleviate the symptoms, it is also a useful tool for the guests with allergies, asthma and high blood pressure.

Negative ions are the only ones capable of removing carcinogenic sub-micron PM particles, which cannot be removed from the air even by the best filters in the world, as these particles are too tiny to be intercepted in filter.

Such particles are otherwise constantly being accumulated in the lungs. Besides the latter, the negative ions also remove all bacteria, viruses, odours, smoke, dust, all allergens and the finest sand, typically carried by the wind in hot and dry environments. So, the negative ions will provide ample protection from various foreign substances being deposited in the lungs as well as from infections.

Your guests or residents will thus be healthy, full of energy and will leave your hotel satisfied.

And you know that a satisfied guest always comes back. Let your hotel be their oasis of pleasure.

[1] This air is strongly deionised, i.e. depleted of vital negative ions and excessively loaded with positive ions. In terms of biological effects, air like that is called “dead” air and is like the air the guinea pigs had to breathe during Tchijewsky’s experiments in 1920, which ended with most of them getting sick and dying.
